- Call one of the vetted SCW engineers relevant for your particular breakdown. If you would prefer to call an engineer of your choice, simply ensure they are VAT registered, to be able to process your claim and carry out your repair under the repair and maintenance plan.
2. Ask the engineer to diagnose the fault.
3. Check that the fault is covered under the repair and maintenance plan.
4. Request that the engineer call the Repair Department on 03432 271 499.
They will need the following information to register the request:
Contract agreement number
Maintenance contract holder’s name
Nature of repair request
Total cost
5. When repairs are approved a repair request number and form will be issued for the repairs to be carried out, along with a repair request form to be signed and dated by the repair and maintenance plan holder.
6. The engineer can now carry out the work.
7. The engineer sends the repair request form and their VAT invoice for payment.
